Julian Gay

Julian Gay began their career in 2005 as a Warranty Clerk and Shipping Clerk at Extang Corporation. In 2009, they worked as a Manpower IT Temp at ReCellular, where they were responsible for maintaining PCs on the plant floor and responding to problem tickets. In 2010, they held multiple positions, including a Warehouse/Driver at Safelite AutoGlass, a Computer Consultant at ITS Computer Support and Repair, and a Housewares Associate at Bed Bath & Beyond. From 2012 to 2015, they worked for Apex Systems as a Desktop Support Technician and was involved in the EZ Access Project for Ascension Health at St. Johns Hospitals. Julian then transitioned to Common Sail Investment Group as a Senior Helpdesk Support Specialist, Helpdesk Support Specialist II, and IT Helpdesk Administrator. In 2022, they founded The Functional Lens, where they are a Health Blogger, Functional Nutrition & Health Coach, and Owner. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Worksighted as an On-Site (Field) Engineer and an Express Lane Support Engineer.

Julian Gay obtained a Certificate in Computer Systems Technology from Washtenaw Community College between 2006 and 2008. In April 2008, they became an A+ Certified IT Technician through CompTIA. Julian is also a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor through the Functional Nutrition Alliance, which they obtained in July 2022.
