Brian Smith

Brian Smith is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as VP Engineering at Worksoft since April 2004, Brian has held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Architect, where responsibilities involve providing technical guidance and mentoring to teams developing the company's product offerings. Prior to Worksoft, Brian held the position of Senior Member of Technical Staff at i2, leading the development of non-core functionality across various user interfaces and middleware. Earlier work experience includes a role as Software Engineer at Kodak, focusing on medical image management systems, and at Texas Instruments, where Brian led the development of an expert system for mission planning. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology, earned in 1987.
