Bogdan Sorlea

Bogdan Sorlea has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bogdan is currently working as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Worksome since May 2021. Before that, they worked at Tradeshift as a DevOps Data Engineer from February 2019 to June 2020 and as a DevOps Engineer from May 2013 to January 2019. Prior to Tradeshift, they worked at Process Factory as a Software Engineer from October 2012 to March 2013, where they developed a Java Enterprise product for the Danish insurance market. Bogdan also worked at ISDC as a Java Developer from October 2011 to August 2012, primarily focusing on Spring suite, WebSphere Application Server, and Liferay enterprise portal. Additionally, they worked at Cybercom as a Java Developer for a short period in 2011, developing Java Web Applications using Spring MVC and NoSQL databases. Before these roles, they worked at IT Exchange as a Web Developer from August 2008 to June 2011, where they developed web applications using PHP and MySQL. Bogdan also has experience as a Student Researcher at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, where they conducted research on Cellular Automata and Web Services matching and clustering for three months in 2010. Bogdan Sorlea began their education at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Bogdan then went on to attend the DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2012 to 2014, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Digital Systems. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, Bogdan Sorlea studied at the Universitatea "Babeș-Bolyai" din Cluj-Napoca, earning a Master of Arts degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production.
