Lisa Ardill has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2013 when they acted as a Class Representative for Trinity College Dublin Students' Union. In 2014, they completed a 12-week internship in the Advisory: Risk and Performance Improvement department at EY, which they achieved through a competition in which they gave a presentation on a week-long case study to a board of company partners. In 2015, Lisa worked as a Mentor with Slingshot Academy, helping to demonstrate the value of pursuing a STEM career to Transition Year students. Lisa also completed a Student Internship with the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience. In 2016, Lisa was an Administrative Assistant at Drumcondra Village Medical Centre. In 2017, they were a Marketing & Communications Assistant at the ADAPT Centre, where they gained experience in Event Planning & Management, Social Media, Website Maintenance, Press Relations, Content Development, and more. In 2018, Lisa was a Media & Communications Fellow at Science Foundation Ireland, where they supported the primary functions of the communications team. From 2019 to 2021, Lisa was a Careers Editor and Senior Careers Reporter at Silicon Republic, and from 2021 to 2022, they were a Digital Content Editor at Engineers Ireland. Currently, Lisa is a Content Marketer and Copywriter at Workvivo.
Lisa Ardill obtained their Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Trinity College Dublin between 2012 and 2016. Lisa then went on to get their Master's degree in Science Communication from Dublin City University between 2016 and 2017. Prior to this, they attended Mount Temple Comprehensive between 2006 and 2012. Additionally, they have obtained certifications for CPR Training and a Full Driver's Licence.
