Richard Barrett

Richard Barrett has a wealth of experience in the marketing and content creation fields. Richard began their career in 2011 as a Physical Education and Irish teacher at St. Patrick's College, Gardiner's Hill. Richard then founded the website 'Sport Is Everything' in 2012 and was selected for the Ignite Programme in 2013. In the same year, they co-founded Rebar Investments and Readia Ltd. and became Co-Founder of Pundit Arena. In 2015, they co-founded One Zero and began contributing to the Business of Sport on Newstalk 106-108. In 2020, they joined eDesk as Head of Content Studio and Content Strategist, and in 2021 they joined Workvivo as Director of Marketing, Head of Content & Product Marketing, and Head of Content.

Richard Barrett has completed a number of educational programs throughout their career. In 2002, they obtained their Leaving Certificate from Douglas Community School in Cork. Richard then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Sports Studies from University College Cork, which they completed in 2012. In 2013, they attended the Ignite - Business Innovation Programme at University College Cork, obtaining an Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies degree. Most recently, in 2022, they began an Executive Development - Diploma in Strategy, Development and Innovation program at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
