Do you use Google in your everyday life? Curious to learn the in’s and out’s of how sponsored ads on Google work? We are looking for a Digital Marketing SEM Analyst to help our home service clients reach their business goals through ad management. This position is based in Raleigh, NC so you must live in the Triangle area, or be willing to relocate upon hire. 

As a SEM Analyst, you will work with a passionate, helpful, supportive, hard-working team that’s always willing to go above and beyond to help our clients - and each other - succeed. You’ll be responsible for supporting the management of ad campaigns for our clients in the home services industry.

WorkWave’s digital marketing team operates under the name Coalmarch by WorkWave. We provide agency services to help business owners in the field services industries (lawn care, pest control, HVAC, etc) grow their business through effective inbound marketing and lead generation strategies. As an organization, we offer a variety of services and software for field service businesses in all stages- from start ups, to mid-size businesses, all the way to larger companies with franchises.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Creating and managing ad campaigns on various platforms -- including Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, NextDoor, and more
  • Regularly reviewing numbers and data, and making strategic keyword adjustments based on performance goals
  • Creating and optimizing high-converting landing pages to be used for paid campaigns
  • Creating and sending marketing emails to promote client services and special offers
  • Working within a number of tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Local Services, ClickUp, Mailchimp and more
  • Working closely with SEM Strategists to ensure that client performance goals are attainable and that actionable items to improve performance are being regularly identified and executed
  • Communicating performance and progress to Account Strategists when needed

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
  • 0-1 years of experience in a PPC or broad digital marketing role (internship experience is acceptable)
  • An understanding of how pay-per-click advertising works
  • Coachable, open to feedback, and can work with well with others
  • Adaptable, comfortable with change, and enjoys taking on new challenges
  • Authentic, genuine, and conveys consistency in their words and actions
  • Excited about the opportunity to consistently learn and improve
  • Enjoys juggling several projects at once and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about learning PPC, are goal-oriented, and enjoy a fast-paced environment where things never get boring.
