Anika Wells

Executive Committee Member at World Anti-Doping Agency

Anika Wells currently serves as the Federal Minister for Communications and Sport and the Federal Member for Lilley within the Parliament of Australia, roles held since May 2019. In addition, Anika Wells is the Vice President of the Brisbane 2032 Organising Committee for the Olympic & Paralympic Games, a position held since July 2022, and serves on the Executive Committee of the World Anti-Doping Agency since the same year. Prior to these roles, Anika Wells worked as a lawyer at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers from August 2014 to May 2019. Anika Wells holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Griffith University, completed in 2009, and also attended The Australian National University for further studies.
