Bongot Huaso Mulia Radjagoekgoek

Bongot Huaso Mulia Radjagoekgoek currently serves as an External Advisor for the EEP Komodo Dragon at the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria since March 2024. Since November 2007, Bongot has held multiple significant positions at Taman Safari Indonesia, including Vice President of Life Sciences, Group Head Life Sciences, Life Science Head of Animal Health, Head Of Research and Senior Veterinarian, and Veterinarian. Bongot has also contributed to the IUCN's Expert Advisory Board for the Sumatran Rhino Rescue since 2018, and is a contributor at Wild Tiger Health Center.org since 2011. Additionally, Bongot has been the Komodo Dragon - International Studbook Keeper at the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums since July 2009. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Reproductive Biology from IPB University, a Post Graduate course in Zoological Medicine from the University of Zurich, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from IPB University.
