Ana Campos Garcia

Ana Campos Garcia is an experienced professional in disaster risk management and urban resilience, currently serving as the Lead Disaster Risk Management and Urban Resilience Specialist at The World Bank since January 2010. Previous roles at The World Bank include Africa Regional Coordinator and Senior Specialist in Disaster Risk Management. Ana's earlier experience includes serving as the Regional Director for the PREDECAN Project at the Secretary General of the Andean Community - European Commission, focused on disaster prevention, and as a Project Coordinator for the Natural Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project at the National Department of Planning. Additionally, Ana worked as a freelance consultant in seismic engineering and disaster risk management for over a decade. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Earthquake Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes.
