Anastasiya Denisova

Anastasiya Denisova is a Senior Economist at the World Bank, specializing in the East Asia Pacific region within the Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice since September 2013. Previously, Anastasiya served as an Economist in the Young Professionals Program, focusing on human development in Africa, and contributed as a Consultant in both the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank on various projects related to labor mobility and job creation. Anastasiya has a strong academic background with a PhD in Economics and MA from Georgetown University, where valuable teaching and research experience was gained. Early career involvement includes a role as Programs Officer at the World Affairs Council of Northern California, where significant partnerships and events in international trade and development were organized.
