Ani Popiashvili

Ani Popiashvili is a technology and innovation professional currently serving as Tech Lead for the World Bank Group Youth Summit and as an Innovation Officer specializing in Business Solutions at The World Bank. Since joining The World Bank in May 2019, Ani has been instrumental in leading agile development and the implementation of disruptive technology projects, successfully managing numerous prototype use cases and enhancing AI process flow optimization. Throughout various roles, including Global Chapter Lead for SheFi and Graduate Research Assistant at Tennessee State University, Ani has developed strong analytical and research skills, contributing to multiple publications and impactful reports. Ani holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Tennessee State University, a Bachelor of Economics from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, and a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and Supply Chain Management from Tennessee State University.
