Carmen Nonay has extensive experience in finance and development, currently serving as the Director of the Finance, Private Sector, Infrastructure & Sustainable Development Department at the World Bank since October 1997. Carmen has held various leadership roles at the World Bank, including Global Practice Manager for both the Water Sector in the Middle East and North Africa and Global Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, as well as Program Manager. Prior to joining the World Bank, Carmen worked as an International Project Officer at Nittetsu Shoji-Nippon Steel Group and as an Account Executive at Peugeot. Carmen's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BBA in Finance and Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as advanced management training in Infrastructure Finance/PPP from Harvard Kennedy School.
