Chris Greacen

Chris Greacen is a seasoned expert in renewable energy and rural electrification, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at the World Bank Group since 2008. Greacen has authored influential publications, including the award-winning book "From the Bottom Up," and has extensive consulting experience for organizations such as the United Nations and the International Finance Corporation. As an Independent Consultant, Greacen focuses on renewable energy policy, mini-grid regulatory frameworks, and energy efficiency. Additionally, Greacen holds leadership roles in various organizations, including co-director at Small Steps Solar and director at the non-profit Palang Thai.
