Denis Jordy

Denis Jordy is an experienced professional in sustainable development and disaster risk management, currently serving as Program Leader for Sustainable Development at The World Bank since April 2004. Prior roles at The World Bank include Lead Disaster Risk Management Specialist and Regional Coordinator for the Pacific Region. Denis Jordy’s previous experience encompasses positions as Senior Environmental Specialist and Senior Agricultural Specialist in Africa, as well as a Biosafety Adviser with the French Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Early career roles include Project Manager for the European Rural Development Program and Community Driven Development Program. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Environment and Water Resources Management from the National Institute of Environment, Water Management and Forestry, and a Master's Degree in Agronomy and Crop Science from the National Institute of Agriculture of Paris-Grignon.
