Elad Shenfeld

Elad Shenfeld is a Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist at the World Bank Group, primarily focused on emergency preparedness and response through the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery. With extensive experience in leadership and management development at the World Bank Institute, Elad has held various roles including Senior Leadership Development Specialist and Program Officer, leading initiatives on capacity building and organizational effectiveness. Prior to joining the World Bank, Elad served in the Israel Ministry of Defense as a Special Assistant to the Military Defense Attaché and held multiple leadership positions in the Israel Defense Forces, including Brigade Training Officer and Commander of Combat Training Company. Elad holds an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University, an Associate's degree from the Israel National Defense College, and a BA in Economics and History from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
