James Heimbach

Jay Heimbach is currently serving as the Vice President for External and Corporate Relations at The World Bank since October 2023. In addition, Jay has been a consultant with Tiber Creek Group and Peck, Madigan, Jones since October 2016. Prior roles include Special Representative for North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Israel at The World Bank from June 2014 to October 2016, Senior Director for North American Government Relations at The ONE Campaign from June 2012 to June 2014, and Special Assistant to the President at The White House from January 2009 to May 2011. Jay also held the position of Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) from January 2007 to January 2009. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Colby College and a Doctor of Law from Boston University School of Law.
