Jean Pesme

Jean Pesme has extensive experience in finance, competitiveness, and innovation, currently holding the position of Global Director at The World Bank since 2003. Throughout a distinguished career, Jean has served in various managerial roles related to financial stability and integrity, particularly in the MENA region, and has contributed to the Financial Market Integrity efforts, including coordination of the StAR Initiative. Prior to joining The World Bank, Jean was the Head of Office at the French Treasury, focusing on anti-money laundering and compliance with OECD anti-bribery standards. Jean holds degrees from École Polytechnique and Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
