Lauren Pires is a Gender and Social Impact Specialist at The World Bank, focusing on IFC Gender x Climate and the Respect@Work initiative since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Market Engagement Manager for Mobile for Humanitarian Innovation at GSMA, where the program enhances digital humanitarian assistance. Lauren has also worked as Outreach and Training Program Manager at A/PI DVRP, managing training and outreach efforts for a domestic violence organization, and as Gender Capacity & Training Consultant at UNICEF, where a gender credentialing program was developed under a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation grant. Additional roles include Project Assistant at the National Democratic Institute, Fundraising Assistant at Delete Blood Cancer UK, and Literacy Tutor through AmeriCorps. Lauren holds a Master's degree from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree from McGill University.
