Maria Dimitriadou

Maria Dimitriadou is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international relations and financial policy. Currently serving as the Special Representative to the UN and the WTO at the World Bank Group since June 2015, Maria has developed strong representation skills and maintained important relationships with Switzerland. Previous roles include Senior International Affairs Officer at the World Bank Group, focusing on EU relations and innovative financing for regions such as Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Officer at the European Commission's DG ECFIN, managing relations with financial institutions, and leading the Management Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes in Greece. Maria's career encompasses various positions in the Greek Ministry of Development and Ministry of Finance, alongside consultancy roles providing economic analysis and support for private investments. Maria holds a Master of Science in Digital Currency from the University of Nicosia and a degree in Economics from the University of Macedonia.
