Martin Albrecht

Martin Albrecht is a seasoned water resources management professional currently serving as a Senior Water Resources Management Specialist and Water and Sanitation Specialist at The World Bank since March 2009. Martin's expertise encompasses various aspects of water resources management, including irrigation, flood management, dam safety, and water supply and sanitation. Prior experience includes roles as a Junior Professional Officer at KfW and as an Associate Expert at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where Martin contributed to the GIZ Young Professional Program. Martin's career also features a brief tenure as a Student Intern on the PROAGUA project. Martin holds a Master's degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from The University of Freiburg, earned from 2000 to 2006.
