Roya Vakil

Roya Vakil is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in financial and economic sectors, currently serving as Special Assistant to the Regional Vice-President for Africa/West and Central at The World Bank since August 2012. Having held multiple roles at The World Bank, including Senior Financial Sector Specialist and Financial Sector Specialist for the Middle East and North Africa, Roya also gained vital experience as a Financial Economist at the U.S. Department of State and as an Investment Officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development.
