Sheryl Silverman

Sheryl Silverman has extensive experience in communications and external relations, currently serving as the External Relations Lead and previously as Communications Lead and Communications Officer for the Global Financing Facility at The World Bank since January 2008. In these roles, Sheryl develops and implements communication strategies that engage diverse audiences and enhance the organization's brand. Prior to this, Sheryl worked as a Communications Consultant and Web Editor for the Water and Sanitation Program, managing website content and editing press releases. Additional experience includes a consultancy position at Microfinance Opportunities, where Sheryl organized a highly successful webinar, and roles at Washingtonpost.com and Online NewsHour. Sheryl holds a Master of Science in Public Health with a focus on Health Communications and Health Education from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
