World Baseball Network
MISSION: To report, promote and champion the leagues, teams, players and games innovating and revolutionizing the Sport of Baseball. The World Baseball Network (WBN) utilizes a web portal, video interviews, comprehensive social media footprint and the best podcast covering International Baseball, “Baseball Without Borders,” to highlight innovative influences on the evolving sport. Plan enhancements include a portfolio of email newsletters, Global Baseball Program Guide and a mobile app, soon to be available on iOS and Android. WBN educates fans of the Sport about the amazing programs in the US and abroad, including Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and across the Americas. These leagues are missed or ignored by typical baseball coverage. Coverage includes Nippon Professional Baseball (Japan), Korean Baseball Organization (KBO), Caribbean League, US Semi-Pro Leagues and NCAA Baseball, across 120 distinct countries. Our goal is to identify the next generation of talent impacting Major League Baseball, as well as the game itself. Increasingly, previously under-the-radar international and domestic players are supercharging MLB rosters. World Baseball Network finds and reports on these players first and follows their progress, through interviews with notable players and coaches, coverage of international tournaments, as well as publishing stats for players and teams across geographic boundaries and leagues.
