Jeff Malehorn is a Board Member at World Business Chicago. Jeff has held this position since December of 2008. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO of Healthcare Financial Services (HFS) at GE Capital from January of 2004 to December of 2008. There, they led a global, broad based financial services business focused on Healthcare with a $22B asset base at its peak. Their responsibilities included leveraged finance, asset based lending, life sciences venture finance, healthcare real estate debt & equity, equity investments, equipment loans and leasing, and vendor finance programs. The global business included Asia, Europe and South/Latin America.

In 2001, Jeff was promoted to GE Company Officer. In addition to their business CEO roles, they were also the GE Capital Executive Sponsor of HealthAhead corporate wellness program. Jeff led GE Capital Americas initiative (2010) followed by GE Capital Global role (2011-12). Jeff also co-chaired GE Capital Americas' Commercial Council and was the Executive Sponsor for GE Chicagoland Citizenship / Community.

Before their time at GE, Jeff was the President and CEO of L3.0 Ventures, LLC. Jeff is also a Board Member of Sabra Healthcare REIT and a Former President and Chief Executive Officer / Executive Advisor of World Business Chicago.

Jeff Malehorn's educational career began at Hempfield High School. Jeff then went on to Penn State University where they achieved a Bachelor of Science (BS) with distinction in finance and general studies.
