Marco Carreira Silva possesses extensive experience in climate finance and adaptation, currently serving as Adaptation Finance Innovation Coordinator at the World Climate Foundation since September 2023, where responsibilities include coordinating the CLIMATEFIT project and designing training programs for the financial sector. Prior to this, Marco conducted independent research on climate finance topics across various institutions from October 2022 to September 2023, and coordinated climate risk and finance innovation at Climate-KIC from April 2018 to September 2022. Additional relevant roles include managing climate adaptation initiatives at InnovAdapt, providing technical support at Computer Generated Solutions, and engaging in sustainable development management at organizations such as LearnMore and AIESEC. Marco holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Climate Change from the University of Copenhagen and an MSc in Techno-Anthropology from Aalborg University.
