Simon Osundwa has extensive experience in program management within the humanitarian sector, currently serving as Program Manager for World Concern in Kenya since January 2017. Responsibilities include the overall management of various project areas, leading emergency response efforts, and developing disaster risk reduction strategies. Previously held positions include Program Manager at Action Africa Help International, focusing on livelihoods projects in Kakuma, and Project Manager at World Renew, managing food security initiatives in Katilu. Early in their career, Simon worked as a Disaster Response Programme Manager with World Concern and as a Food Security Officer at Anglican Development Services, where community assessments and project implementation were key components. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi and a Master's in Environmental Science from Kenyatta University.
