Saud Algharir

Saud Algharir is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customs and technology sectors. Currently serving as General Manager of the Customs Targeting Center at Saudi Customs since January 2018, Saud Algharir leads efforts to enhance border protection through the use of big data and machine learning to identify high-risk shipments and passengers. Saud Algharir also holds the position of Vice Chair of the API/PNR contact committee at the World Customs Organization since October 2019. Previous roles include Head of Business Development at Smaat Co, Senior Project Manager at Duroob Technology, Managing Partner for the Middle East at TravelStoreMaker.com, Senior Business Analyst at Alinma Bank, and System Analyst at Samba Financial Group. Saud Algharir earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Prince Sultan University and a High School Diploma with a Scientific Major from Riyadh School.
