Joanna Salazar Harris is a highly experienced professional who has worked in various roles within different organizations. Currently, Joanna is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations at World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana 2024, where Joanna is responsible for creating the internal infrastructure and operations for a major design initiative. With a background in resource development at Via International Inc, Joanna has also worked as a Regional Planner at SANDAG, where Joanna focused on bi-national coordination between San Diego and Tijuana. Joanna holds a Master's Degree in International Affairs from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government.
