Ambar Maya Johnsson has a diverse work experience in the fields of event design, creative direction, architecture, and design consulting. Ambar Maya is currently working at the World Economic Forum as an Event Design Lead, where they provide creative direction for events. Prior to that, they were an Event Design Specialist at the same organization.

Ambar has also worked as a Creative Direction & Design Consultant from 2013 to 2021, where they managed complex design projects in various domains such as architecture, brand identity, and communication.

Ambar Maya has experience as an Architect Project Manager at YKRA Sàrl, where they were responsible for design development, project execution, and managing external collaborators. Ambar then went on to pursue their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) with Honours at the Edinburgh College of Art from 2006 to 2011, specializing in architecture.

Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education by earning a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree in Architecture from both The University of Edinburgh and The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Ambar Maya attended The University of Edinburgh from 2011 to 2012 and The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University during the same period, demonstrating their commitment to gaining a global perspective on the field.

Their passion for health, wellness, and fitness led their to broaden their knowledge in this area. In 2018, they enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and completed their Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) certification in 2019.

Ambar also sought to enhance their technical skills in the architectural field, attending Cadschool in 2020 to acquire expertise in Autodesk Revit (Advanced).

In 2021, they further expanded their skill set by studying marketing at Cadschool, receiving a degree in Social Media, Community Management & Video Marketing.
