Aytug Goksu has a diverse and extensive work experience. Aytug began their career as a Regional Expert at the Global Strategy Institute in April 2004, where they worked until January 2005. Aytug then became a Foreign Trade Specialist at the Undersecretariat of the Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade and held this role from July 2005 to September 2011. From September 2011 to August 2014, Aytug served as the Chief of Cabinet at the Ministry of Economy, Republic of Turkey. Following this, they worked as a Commercial Counsellor at the Turkish Embassy in London from August 2014 to June 2018. During their time at the embassy, they also served as a Board Member at the Association of Economic Representatives in London from January 2017 to June 2018. Currently, Aytug is working at the World Economic Forum as the Community Lead for the Center of Regional and Geopolitical Affairs - Europe. In this role, they lead engagement efforts with South East European governments and European institutions. Additionally, they are responsible for coordinating the Forum's Strategic Dialogue on the Western Balkans and establishing the Forum's Affiliate Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Turkey and Serbia.
Aytug Goksu completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations at Ankara University from 1999 to 2003. Aytug then pursued a Master of Public Affairs degree at Princeton University from 2008 to 2010.
