Brian Kaufmann

Brian Kaufmann serves as the Head of Private Investments at Viking Global Investors since August 2010, overseeing the firm's Private Equity and Private Credit initiatives and is a member of the Management Committee. In addition, Brian has been recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum since March 2021. Previous experience includes roles as an Associate at TA Associates from August 2005 to August 2008 and as an Investment Banking Analyst in the M&A Group at Merrill Lynch from July 2003 to July 2005. Brian holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School (2008-2010) and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University (1999-2003).
