Daniel Shin

Daniel Shin, DBA, serves as the Head of Corporate Development at MCM Worldwide, leading initiatives since February 2015 for the German luxury leather brand. As a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at KingsBay Capital, a venture capital firm that focuses on Korea-US cross-border ventures, Daniel also contributes as a Board Member and Statutory Auditor for the organization. In academia, Daniel is an Adjunct Professor at Korea University, teaching entrepreneurship and venture capital, and holds a Founding Member & Lead role at METES Institute. Daniel's impact extends globally as a Young Global Leader with the World Economic Forum and as a Fellow at the Salzburg Global Seminar. Additionally, Daniel participates on the Board of Trustees for the Union School of Theology and holds board positions with companies such as SPI and Ensol Biosciences. Daniel's extensive education includes advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as Yale University, the University of Oxford, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, among others.
