Diego Bustamante is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international development and governance. Currently serving as the Deputy Head for Latin America at the World Economic Forum since January 2015, Diego co-develops and implements engagement strategies while leading various development projects focused on sustainable growth and technology governance. Previous roles include positions as Latin America Senior Community Lead and Senior Community Lead for Latin America & Africa with the Young Global Leaders program. Diego's earlier experiences include consultancy roles with Management Systems International and work in advisory capacities within the Colombian government, focusing on social development, security policies, and governance. Diego holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and an Executive Masters in Global Leadership from prestigious institutions including London Business School and INSEAD.
