Emily Kirsch is the Founder and CEO of Powerhouse, an innovation firm focused on helping global corporations partner with and invest in innovative startups in clean energy, mobility, and climate. Kirsch also serves as the Founder and Managing Partner of Powerhouse Ventures, which backs seed-stage startups aiming to decarbonize energy and mobility systems. In addition to these roles, Kirsch holds positions on the Board of Directors for Station A, as a Board Observer for Recurrent and Ensemble Energy, and as a member of the Investor Advisory Board for NYSERDA. Kirsch is recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and is a part of its Global Future Council on Advanced Energy Technologies. Moreover, Kirsch has contributed to the University of San Francisco's Advisory Board for the Master of Science in Energy Systems Management and has extensive experience in environmental activism through various roles at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights.
