Fabro Steibel

Fabro Steibel serves as the Executive Director at Instituto de Tecnologia & Sociedade do Rio de Janeiro, where studies focus on the impact and future of technology in Brazil and globally. Additionally, Steibel is a Global Council Member at the World Economic Forum and an Independent Researcher for Brazil at the Open Government Partnership, contributing to enhancing government transparency and accountability. In the role of Open Government Fellow at the Organization of American States, Steibel engages in political discussions among the Americas. Previously, Steibel held positions as a Research Fellow at Bellagio Center and as Chief Area Manager and Lecturer at ESPM. Consultation experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant for IPPDH Mercosul and UNESCO, focusing on civic participation tools. Education credentials include a PhD in Communications Studies from the University of Leeds and various roles at Harvard University as an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center.
