Head Of Product Management at World Economic Forum

Kate Wang has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kate started their career as a Finance Associate at COFCO Corporation in 2000. Kate then worked as a Relationship Manager for Asia at the World Economic Forum from 2001 to 2003. After that, they joined Reuters and held various roles including Financial Markets Specialist for France & Benelux, Relationship Manager, Focus Group Account, Product Specialist, and Proposition Product Owner. During their time at Reuters, they successfully led competitor displacement projects and built strong relationships with key clients. In 2010, they became an International Product Manager at Thomson Reuters, where they led the design of a next-generation analytics solution and managed an existing transaction analytics platform. In 2012, they became a Board Member at CSPV Asia Ltd., responsible for the business development of Genolier's anti-aging brand in Asia. Kate then worked as a Principal Consultant at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, leading a team of UX/UI consultants and optimizing workflows for a large-scale shipping platform project. In 2015, they joined Windmill Smart Solutions GmbH as a Principal. In 2017, they worked as a Product Strategy Consultant at Lombard Odier Group, leading a digital transformation study and delivering a detailed digital strategy recommendation. Currently, Kate Wang is the Head of Product Management at the World Economic Forum.

Kate Wang graduated from the University of International Business and Economics in 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Finance. Kate furthered their education by attending the University of St.Gallen from 2002 to 2004, obtaining a Master of Science degree in International Management. In 2003, they also participated in a CEMS Exchange Semester at HEC Paris, specializing in International Management.
