Milana Boukhman Trounce, MD MBA, is a distinguished leader in BioSecurity and pandemic resilience, currently serving as the Founder and Director of BioSecurity and Pandemic Resilience and Response at Stanford University. Since 2009, Milana has developed interdisciplinary programs and courses, including BioSecurity and Pandemic Resilience, and Healthcare Leadership, while mentoring hundreds of students and faculty through initiatives like the COVID-19 Response Innovation Lab and the Stanford Global Catastrophic Risk Initiative. As a Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine, Milana oversees the busy Emergency Department at Stanford and plays a significant role in curriculum and policy decisions as a Faculty Senate Senator.
