Rob van Riet

Rob van Riet is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in climate policy and disarmament. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the World Economic Forum since July 2021, Rob previously directed the Climate Energy Programme at the World Future Council from February 2010 to May 2019, focusing on climate protection legislation and renewable energy systems. Additionally, Rob coordinated the Peace and Disarmament Programme at the same organization and acted as the UK Coordinator for the Parliamentarians for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament from January 2011 to January 2018. Early career experience includes an internship at the Permanent Delegation of The Netherlands to UNESCO. Rob holds a Master of Law in Public International Law from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor in International & European Law from the University of Groningen.
