Biren Shah has extensive work experience in various technology leadership roles. Biren started their career as a Senior Programmer Analyst and Software Development Manager at PSA/The Bond Market Association. From 2002 to 2010, they served as the Director/Software Development Manager at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), where they led a team of developers and worked on enterprise applications and websites.

Following their time at SIFMA, Biren joined SIFMA again as the Vice President of Software Engineering. During their tenure from 2010 to 2016, they managed a team of software developers and consultants, focusing on designing and developing enterprise software solutions for a financial trade association.

Since 2017, Biren has been working at World Education Services. Initially, they served as the Director of Engineering, where they led a global digitization initiative and successfully deployed a mobile application with over 200,000 downloads in the first year. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer, working closely with senior leadership to strategize for new products and future roadmap while leading the technology execution.

Biren Shah has a diverse education background. In 1989 to 1993, they attended Thadomal Shahani Engineering College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics. Following that, in 1994 to 1995, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Most recently, in 2021 to 2022, Biren attended Wharton Executive Education and completed the Executive CTO program. Biren also obtained additional certifications from Wharton in areas such as Chief Technology Officer Program, Product Management and Strategy, Executive Presence and Influence, and Technology Acceleration Program.
