Megan Blackburn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Megan most recently worked as the Senior Director of Strategy and Planning at World Education Services starting from October 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Director of International Product Management at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences from February 2018 to October 2019.
From September 2013 to December 2017, Megan was the Director of Africa Operations at Monash South Africa. Before that, they worked at Peace Corps as a Performance Analyst from December 2007 to September 2013, and as a Temporary Program Assistant from September 2006 to December 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Research Analyst at the HELP Commission from December 2006 to December 2007.
Megan also gained experience as an Intern at USAID from June 2005 to August 2005 and as a Research Intern at AmCham Chile from September 2003 to January 2004. Megan began their professional career as a Personal Assistant at the Office of U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel from July 2001 to July 2003.
Megan Blackburn obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Government and International Studies from Colby College in 2001. Megan also participated in a Study Abroad program in Quito, Ecuador in 1999. Later on, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master's degree in International Affairs at Columbia | SIPA.
