Alton Mpungu currently serves as the Capacity Building and Programs Manager at World Education, a position held since January 2013, where responsibilities include supporting the capacity development of NGOs to secure funding from various donors, managing sub-grants, and implementing sustainable programs. Additionally, Alton has been the Advocacy and Communications Officer at World Education Inc Children First since September 2009. Alton holds a Master's degree in Development Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, awarded in 2019, a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Chicago, completed in 2008, and an A'Level qualification from St Francis Xavier's Kutama College, obtained in 2003.
