World Food Programme
Albert Orwa serves as the Head of the Research, Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) Unit at the World Food Programme since August 2023. Prior to this role, Albert was a Data Specialist at FAO and held multiple positions at the University of Nairobi, including Evaluation and Learning Advisor and Monitoring and Evaluation Lead, where responsibilities encompassed developing monitoring and evaluation systems, leading data analysis efforts, and capacity building for staff. Other experiences include serving as a Lead Evaluation Consultant for BOMA and Data Analyst roles at various organizations, including US Pharmacopeia and the African Population and Health Research Center. Albert holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics (Statistics) from Pan African University and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Statistics with Computing from Moi University.
