World Food Programme
Filippo Pompili is an experienced Evaluation Manager at the World Food Programme (WFP), having held various evaluation and monitoring roles since May 2009. Currently, in the Office of Evaluation, Filippo manages independent evaluations aimed at enhancing accountability and organizational learning for WFP, including assessments of emergency preparedness and country strategic plans across multiple regions. Previously, as Regional Evaluation Officer for West Africa, Filippo led the decentralized evaluation function and developed the first WFP Regional Evaluation Strategy for the region. Other positions include Evaluation Officer and Regional M&E Officer, where Filippo contributed to evaluation exercises and monitoring strategies, particularly in response to the Syrian refugee crisis. Filippo holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Economics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
