Kirsi Junnila

Kirsi Junnila is an accomplished supply chain and logistics professional with extensive experience in the humanitarian sector, currently serving as the Regional Head of Supply Chain for the World Food Programme (WFP) in Asia and the Pacific since August 2016. Over a career spanning more than two decades at WFP, Kirsi Junnila has held various leadership roles, including Head of Supply Chain and Supply Chain Officer, where key contributions include the development of national supply chain strategies and corporate financial guidance. Prior experience includes establishing supply chain strategies in Africa and managing logistics operations within Mozambique and Southern Africa, ensuring efficient delivery of humanitarian aid. Kirsi Junnila's academic background includes a Master’s degree in International Trade and Logistics Management from the School of Economics and Business Administration in Turku, Finland, and a certificate in International Shipping and Commerce from the University of Turku.
