Natalia Acosta is an experienced evaluation professional currently serving as the Regional Evaluation Officer and Head of the Regional Evaluation Unit at the World Food Programme since September 2021. Prior to this role, Natalia held positions at the UN Environment Programme as an Evaluation Officer and at UNDP as an Evaluation Specialist, contributing to Independent Country Programme Evaluations in Latin America and the Caribbean. With earlier experience at FAO as an Evaluation Officer and Programme M&E Consultant, Natalia led various evaluations and studies while supporting large-scale development projects. Additional roles include Human Resources Assistant at the U.S. Department of State and marketing-related positions at Arla Foods and Maersk Line. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Relations Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica de Honduras “Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz.”
