Zia Uddin Juwel

Zia Uddin Juwel is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in recruitment, HR strategy implementation, and performance management. Currently serving as a Business Support Assistant (HR) at the World Food Programme since May 2025, Zia previously held positions as a Senior Human Resources Officer at BRAC, where responsibilities included overseeing recruitment processes, driving diversity initiatives, and developing HR strategies. Zia's foundation in HR was built through roles as a Human Resources Officer and a People & Culture Assistant at World Vision Bangladesh, contributing to employee recruitment and personnel management. Prior experience also includes translation roles at Terre des hommes foundation and Médecins Sans Frontières, along with program oversight at HOPE Foundation for Women & Children of Bangladesh. Zia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and HRM from the University of Information Technology & Sciences and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Bangladesh Institute of Management.
