Khaled Bushnaq is an accomplished professional in the field of energy conservation and green building initiatives, currently serving as the Vice Chair of the MENA Region for the World Green Building Council since January 2024. Khaled has held various leadership positions, including Chairman of the Board for the Emirates Green Building Council, a role held since January 2008. As Chief Executive Officer of Energy Management Services Int. since September 1991, Khaled has focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building certifications. Additionally, Khaled is a founder and board member of multiple organizations, including the GCC Board Directors Institute and Boutique Ayla, while also advising the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund and The British University in Dubai. Khaled's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Salford and A Levels in Engineering from Loughborough College.
