Anindya Bose serves as the Team Lead for VPD Surveillance and Risk Assessment at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, overseeing the Immunization Preventable Disease Unit in Nepal since October 2016. Previously, Anindya held positions as a Health Specialist at UNICEF, focusing on global polio vaccine management, and as a Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, managing significant grants for vaccine delivery in India. Anindya's early career at WHO included guiding the introduction of the second dose of measles in India and assisting with measles surveillance. Anindya holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Calcutta Medical College.
