Dr. Wasif Jamil Shaikh

Dr. Wasif Jamil Shaikh is an experienced public health professional currently serving as an Area Coordinator and Provincial Emergency Response Officer for the World Health Organization since August 2016, with a focus on polio eradication efforts. Prior to this role, Dr. Shaikh worked as a Research Associate at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences from January 2015 to August 2016 and as a House Officer at Liaquat University Hospital from February 2012 to February 2013. Dr. Shaikh holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Nottingham, completed in 2014, and a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, attained in 2011.
