Faiza Hassan

Faiza Hassan is an experienced professional in program management and resource mobilization with a notable track record in the health and NGO sectors. Currently serving as a Program Management & External Relations Officer at the World Health Organization since February 2022, Faiza has been instrumental in designing joint resource mobilization strategies and securing substantial funding for global health initiatives. Previously, as a Programs Officer at Global One_NGO, over £500K was secured for gender advocacy projects, and significant funds were mobilized for the "Repairing Hope" project. Earlier experience includes a role as a Project Assistant at UNESCO in Somalia, where partnerships led to increased funding and resource diversification, and as an Assistant Manager at Womankind Kenya, where resource mobilization processes were improved. Faiza holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from United States International University - Africa and a Master's Degree in the same field from the University of Nairobi.
